Before Accepting a Review Invitation

    ???? Publication Guidelines

  2. Ensure all feedback complies with the journal’s publication policy. Any violation will result in removal from the reviewers’ list.

  3. Comments and suggestions must be written directly on the manuscript file with your name removed for anonymity. Failure to comply will prevent certificate issuance.

  4. Incomplete reviewer profiles will block the system from generating reviewer certificates. Ensure your profile is complete before reviewing.

  5. It is strictly forbidden to upload any manuscript to AI platforms, share it with third parties, or perform similarity checks independently. The journal conducts similarity checks internally. If any issue arises, contact the editorial office immediately.

Additionally, consider:

  • Does the manuscript fall within your area of expertise? Accept only if you can provide a high-quality review.

  • Do you have any potential conflict of interest? If yes, inform the editor before proceeding.

  • Do you have sufficient time to complete the review by the deadline?

How to Peer-Review for IJHSS

Your review report should be comprehensive, objective, and constructive. IJHSS does not impose a strict reporting format, but the following structure is recommended:

  • Summary

  • Major Issues

  • Minor Issues

Focus your comments on helping authors enhance their work. Provide evidence-based, respectful, and actionable feedback. If you wish to include confidential comments for the editor, use the “Comments to Editor” section.

Key aspects reviewers should evaluate include:

  • Validity and clarity of the research questions

  • Adequacy of the sample size

  • Ethical compliance and approval (if applicable)

  • Appropriateness of research design and methodology

  • Proper use and reporting of statistical analysis

  • Clarity and accuracy of tables and figures

  • Discussion and comparison with previous research

  • Appropriateness and relevance of citations

  • Strength of the relationship between results and conclusions

  • Acknowledgment of research limitations

  • Accuracy and clarity of the abstract and language

Reviews must be submitted via the online submission system on or before the deadline. If you are unable to meet the deadline, inform the editorial office immediately so that alternate arrangements can be made.

At the end of the review, please choose one of the following recommendations:

  • Accept

  • Minor Revision

  • Major Revision

  • Reject

  • Unable to Review

Confidentiality

All manuscripts under review are strictly confidential. Reviewers must not share, discuss, or distribute the content of manuscripts outside the peer review process.
If consultation with a colleague is necessary, prior approval from the Editor-in-Chief is required, and the colleague’s name must be mentioned in the “Comments to Editor” field.

Conflict of Interest

Reviewers must decline to review a manuscript if they:

  • Have a financial or personal interest related to the work.

  • Have previously discussed the manuscript with the authors.

  • Feel unable to provide an objective and unbiased review.

Reviewer Requests

The editorial board welcomes applications from qualified researchers wishing to join the reviewer community. Reviewers are selected based on expertise, specialization, and publication record.
Interested scholars are encouraged to register through the journal’s website to ensure their contact details are current and complete.
