Abstract

This research came in response to the request of the esteemed conference, and its title is (The Importance of Islamic Sciences in the Progress of Nations and Societies-Jurisprudence as a Model). This research aims to explain jurisprudence and keeping pace with development, the approach of jurisprudence in keeping pace with development, and models of jurisprudence in keeping pace with development. It has reached the following results: 1. Jurisprudence has a great impact on the development of life because its subject is ruling on the actions of those in charge and their behavior, and clarifying what is permissible and what is forbidden. 2. The correct approach for jurisprudence to contribute to revealing rulings on calamities and contemporary issues is to properly adapt and characterize the issues under study, through which they can be visualized as they really are. 3. One of the things that govern diligence is the observance of the rules governing diligence. 4. The jurisprudence councils of the Islamic world have been concerned with keeping pace with the development of life by examining many of the issues facing the nation and then issuing collective fatwas regarding it.
