Abstract

The narrative vision in the novel: the cultural trends and references of the narrator, as it is the main component of the narrative, and the carrier of the cultural and social movement in the novel, Majid Moqbel presented in his novel Will Grow Her Nose (2015), a new vision of the narrative, in which the contents and meanings permeated the novel in two separate parts, making each part a narrator separate from the other, which led to the need to understand the multiplicity of narrative visions and understand the theme that they carry with different points of view, as the multiplicity of narrators constitutes a multiplicity of meaning, and thus the study of narrative foci, between the narrator The speaker, and the absent narrator The aim of the research is to reveal the multiple narrative foci in the novel: (external focus, internal focus, and accompanying focus). The novel presented the narrative vision using the various narrative techniques that revealed the cultural patterns to which each narrator belongs, the most important of which appeared description, and explanatory details, with the aim of reaching the goals involved in the process of focusing on the intention of showing the paradox in understanding the situation itself, and how each narrator interprets the scene according to his intellectual and psychological ideologies, which formed the features of the cultural gap that may show facts without their meanings, employing analytical methodology and cultural criticism, to understand the cultural, social and political implications of the collective and individual.
