Abstract

The Holy Qur’an focused on the issue of ignorance and turned away from it. This is due to its seriousness, as ignorance is one of the serious pests facing societies, which causes enormous damage at the individual and societal levels. The research collected a study of the subject of contemporary ignorance as depicted in the Holy Quran, an objective study. The research concluded that "contemporary ignorance" is a bad psychological state that afflicts its owner, and he refuses to abide by God's rule and the legitimacy of Islam. Jahiliya is not confined to what was before Islam, and it may exist after the advent of Islam.
