Orientalists' doubts about the Qur'anic Surah and the response to them

Abstract

 The Holy Quran is the first divine source of Islamic knowledge, which Muslims have received since the beginning of the Islamic religion with acceptance, interest, memorization, documentation and interpretation. The Noble Prophet (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) took it upon himself, embodied its concepts and explained its purposes. Hence, the Holy Quran has remained immortal over time. Quranic studies were among the oldest Islamic studies, among Muslims and non-Muslims, especially the Orientalists. Most of their interest was focused on their study of the Holy Quran, so they took it as a subject for their research. The aspect of the Quranic surah was one of the areas in which Orientalists wrote critical writings, with the aim of challenging and casting doubt on the credibility of the Quranic surah and proving its humanity. They are far from the truth, so they cast their doubts, trying to sow doubt about this eternal heavenly book and shake confidence in it in the souls of Muslims. However, their attempts failed, and their hands were defeated, and their doubts fell before the walls of the impregnable truth. Rather, their studies were far removed from the scientific method and objectivity, and they were often ignorant of the sciences of the Holy Quran and Islamic sciences and their sources. In this research, I have dealt with the position of these Orientalists on the Holy Quranic Surah, and clarified the purpose of studying the visions of the Orientalists and explaining them, which is to know the truth of their position on the Holy Quran in general and the Quranic Surah in particular, and the reasons for this position, presenting their doubts about the Surahs in this regard, following them up with a response and refutation using a solid, objective, scientific method.
