opular culture, and most notably linguistic creativity in the forms of narration and poetry, are key to the preservation of classical Arabic and linguistic identification based upon one's forbears. Therefore, the role of learners and readers of Linguistic creativity is to preserve and enrich Arabic by immersing themselves in its fluctuating expressions while maintaining its traditional essence. Oral literatures, and most of all, proverbs, are arguably the most potent aspect of such a culture, as they embody Arab societies' historical and cultural memory. Baghdadi proverbs, which are integral to Iraqi and broader Arab and global culture, have linguistic and cultural qualities that reflect customs, traditions, values, and beliefs of societies. These proverbs are not merely rhetorically rich, brief statements of literature but texts which also represent social life, engraving moral, economic, and everyday experiences. These proverbs transmit knowledge that has been acquired, impart awareness, and construct social understanding among successive generations. Common proverbs fall within the oral literary creativity's categories, and this research highlights their contribution towards showcasing Arabic's repressibility most notably in narrative discourse—spanning communication across generations. Relevance and versatility are made manifest in their aesthetic shape and intended meaning. In a descriptive-analytic style, this work discusses Baghdadi proverbs' linguistics, their communication of meaning, preservation of phonetic and semantic coherence, and contribution toward culture identification. Accordingly, under that understanding, the research highlights Arabic proverbs' ongoing value toward culture maintenance and linguistic development.
