Saudi Arabia abounds with diverse architectural styles from ancient times to the present day. The Kingdom is witnessing significant architectural evolution, evident in its old heritage buildings, modern structures, and continuous progress under VISION2030. Saudi architectural style reflects the ideologies of the society in past centuries and its impact on contemporary architectural designs.
The architectural perspective highlights the aesthetic qualities of a building, both inside and out. The Researcher believes that studying this aesthetic dimension will enhance the creation of innovative visual arts that capture these qualities in fresh ways. The central research question explores how to leverage the aesthetic perspective of iconic landmarks across various regions of Saudi Arabia. This Study aims to enrich the compositional structure of the artwork by addressing various segments and exploring multiple aesthetic perspectives in Saudi Arabian architecture, both ancient and modern. The Study employs both descriptive-analytical and experimental approach. The experimental approach is based on studying selection of visual projections of Saudi Arabia's most iconic architectural landmarks from various angles and perspectives. The experimental approach focuses on employing contemporary digitization in visual art, producing artworks by leveraging artificial intelligence to manipulate and edit images. These manipulated images are subsequently rendered onto a canvas using traditional hand-drawing methods.
