The Beginning of Novel in the Arab Countries

Abstract

The study examines the beginnings of novel art in the Arab countries. In other words, it explores the stage of signs and the first novel in each Arab Country. The reader will find differences in defining the first novel in most Arab countries due to the art view toward the written novel and due to the extent of novel spread in society beside the critics' opinions and views about the novels. The researcher divided the emergence of the Arabic novel according to the geographic distribution of these countries across the continents of Asia and Africa. These novels represent the first nucleus of the Arabic novel development in each of these countries and contribute to building generations interested in the art of the novel.
