Abstract

This research aims to study the impact of artificial intelligence and wearable devices in monitoring the health and physical fitness of high school students in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The research relied on a dual descriptive methodology that includes a desk survey of previous literature and a field survey to collect data. A random sample of 100 students aged between 15 and 20 years was selected. A questionnaire was used as a data collection tool, which included five main axes. The initial results showed tangible benefits of these technologies in monitoring and improving students' physical and psychological health indicators, while identifying challenges associated with their use within the educational environment, including protecting the privacy of personal data and ensuring its security. The study recommends the importance of providing awareness and adequate support for students to make the most of this technology, while providing recommendations to enhance its use in ways that protect their privacy and support the development of sustainable health policies.
