Abstract

This study aims to determine whether in working hours have a direct impact on quality of work life and whether they lead to an increase in performance levels and enhance the organization's competitiveness. Achieving this aim requires ,first defining the nature of quality of work life , and the second providing an analysis of the various alternative working hour systems . Then , the focus shifts specifically to the flexible working hours system by analyzing some pratical models , in addition to identifying its implications on the quality of work life. the results concluded that the adoption of flexible working hours by business organizations positively affects the psychological health and well-being of individuals due to reduced psychological stress and increased satisfaction , improved productivity and a better work -life balance

  • Jennat Boukhemkhem, University of Jijel

    Dr. Boukhemkhem Jannat is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor – Rank A) at the Faculty of Economic, Commercial, and Management Sciences, University of Jijel, Algeria. She specializes in Human Resource Management and has 10 years of experience in university teaching and research supervision. She has published numerous research papers in peer-reviewed journals and has participated in many national and international conferences. She also teaches several courses in the Department of Management Sciences, including Job Engineering, Organization Theory, and Research Methodology, among others.
