A proposed model for the application of artificial intelligence in academic and administrative work in academic departments at Saudi universities.

Abstract

Academic departments have received significant attention from universities seeking to improve the quality of their services and align them with their surrounding environment. This interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in academic departments stems from the accelerating complexity of the environment surrounding universities and the increasing demand for higher education. This necessitates applications that facilitate academic and administrative processes within departments to achieve university visions. Accordingly, the current study aims to explore the areas of use of AI applications in the experiences of Arab and international universities, and then present a proposed model for AI applications in the academic and administrative work of academic departments in Saudi universities.
