Abstract

The study aimed at investigating the degree of visible leadership practice among secondary schools principals in Zarqa Governorate and its relation to sex, school type, and years of experience. The study stratified random sample consisted of (338) teachers representing about (16.4%) of the population. A questionnaire was used to gather the information. The study revealed that the degree of visible leadership practice was intermediate, and that there were statistically significant differences in the degree due to sex, type of school, and years of experience. In the light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended raising the degree of visual leadership practice among secondary schools principals in Zarqa Governorate through including visionary leadership in in-service training programs of principals and making its practice among the criteria for their job performance evaluation, in addition to initiating a prize called (The Distinguished Visual Principal Prize).
